Kiki's House

Kiki went to walk out of the kitchen to go to her room where her grumpy grandfather wasn't there. On her way she leaned over to Kitsune and whispered. "And he's getting too old to even do that on his own..." She smiled at him and went to her room.

Kitsune smiled, "Hey! I guess you're eating in your room?"

"No, I'll come out when dinner's ready. Until then I'm getting away from the grumpy old man." She smiled. "See you at dinner guys."

Kitsune and Grandpa chatted until the food was ready. "KIKI! SUPPER!" Kitsune yelled.

Kiki walked to the kitchen. "Heya. So Kitsu, after dinner I'll help you catch up on the work you didn't do this morning." Kitsu sat on a chair

"Nah, I did most of it before I left. I still have some stuff to do." Kitsune said in between gulps as he wolfed down his food. "Mmm, it'sh good shtuff." "Don't talk with your mouth full!" said Grandpa.

"Kiki, wanna help me finish my chores?" Kitsune put down his now empty bowl and got up to leave.

"Yeah sure." She said as she stood up and started to leave with her bowl of stew practically full. "We'll be back later Grandpa." Kiki said as she walked out the door.

A few minutes they were in the shop, "I just wanted you here for company, you don't actually have to do anything." He grabbed a broom from the corner and started sweeping the floor.

"Well I don't mind helping. Besides I don't make very good comapny." She said as she smiled and stole the broom from him and started sweeping.

"Well," he took the broom from her, "I can handle it myself, and you DO make good company. Don't deny it." Kitsune smiled.

Kiki smiled and stole the broom again. "No I don't, see all I do is hinder you."

"Stop it! I'll catch up on this early tomorrow. We should get to bed." Kitsune took back the broom and shoved it back into the corner. "I...ah...Never mind."

Kiki jumped on Kitsune's back. "But I'm too hyper to sleep now."

Kitsune looked over his shoulder at her. "That's too bad, we got a lot of work to do tomorrow. So let's go to bed."

"Let's not and say we did." She said as she tackled him to the ground playfully.

Kitsune grunted. "Kiki, you're going to bed wether you like it or not!" He got up off the floor and put her over his shoulder. He started for the stairs.

Kiki kicked and yelled. "Kitsune put me down! I'll scream rape!" She said as she pounded her fists on his back.

"Okay." Kitsune dropped her off his shoulder and caught her with both hands before she hit the ground. It felt good holding her like this. "Not so loud. You'll wake grandpa. We don't want that." He smiled at her.

Kiki smiled. "Yeah, if we wake him we'll never hear the end of it."

Kitsune looked around the room, "Especially if he finds us like this." He put her down. "So, if you're not tired, what do you wanna do?"

Kiki smiled and shrugged her shoulders. "It really doesn't mat-" She yawned half way through her sentence. "Matter to me."

"So you are tired! I was right!" Kitsune laughed. "You should go to bed."

She knew that he was right. She really did need some sleep. "Okay fine... You're right. I'll go to bed now." She said as she hugged him and went to her room.

A few minutes later Kitsune entered the room, "Ah....Kiki..."
